The FPCC and CAS are organizing a bird blitz of the Kings Grove/Sauk Trail/ Schubert’s Woods complex near Steger. They will be doing a restoration project there and would like to know what’s nesting where. This is a great opportunity to help save birds and improve habitat.
Participants will each take a section (and could work in pairs), note all the birds seen and heard, and map locations of birds of concern.
We will bird in the morning and then get together around 10 for a nice brunch (FPCC will treat). After you register you will be assigned a section and a partner (if you want one).
