Join this outing with expert birder Dan Lory who has self-identified as having a “manic obsession with Park 566.” He wants to share his obsession with anyone willing to show up, and the bonus is this recently restored area boasts a great variety of birds: sparrows, warblers, blackbirds, raptors, and more! Dan does have one requirement for participants “Possess the desire--and the power--to blow off work at the start of the week to go birding.” The walk will promptly start 7 am and can take anywhere from 2-5 hours depending on what is being seen.
Time: 7:00AM – 9:30AM (anywhere from 2 hours to 5 hours, depending on the birds. Anyone joining is able to cut their walk short at any point in the walk by returning via the park's center road)
